Merck & Co.
Global Facility Assessments
Project Overview
Singapore, Tokyo, and Brussels Data Centers
Merck engaged CCG to conduct Facility Assessments of its major overseas data centers focusing on determining support system capacities and identifying elements of risk.
CCG documented Merck’s critical business mission requirements, reviewed IT hardware loads, and analyzed the building systems and services that support normal operations as well as emergency conditions. Issues of capacity, reliability, redundancy and single points of failure were central to this analysis.
CCG then developed a strategic plan to implement recommended improvements.
The diagram below depicts an overview of the study process.
