The AboveNet Communications Dublin-1 Internet Service Exchange is their first and anchor facility in Ireland. This facility houses co-location operations supported by a highly resilient electrical and mechanical systems infrastructure. The two story purpose built structure contains co-location equipment rooms, technical support operations, and facility infrastructure equipment.

Supported by a hybrid electrical plant utilizing multiple unit, battery-less rotary UPS systems and conventional engine generators, this facility establishes a new benchmark in cost effective, reliable critical electrical infrastructure design. Cooling is provided by a central air-cooled chilled water plant. All critical support systems are configured for maintainability without interruption of computer operations.

The facility also houses a Network Operations Center and Marketing Support Center, and is located in the CityWest National Digital Park.
