Guardian iT, a UK-based information technology services organization is entering the US market through the development of a Trading Recovery Facility located in Lyndhurst, NJ. This facility occupies approximately 40,000 square feet on the first level of an existing commercial office building, and contains 600 trading and support positions. A hot-site data center is also provided, housing both Guardian iT and customer equipment.

This facility is supported by an electrical plant utilizing a static UPS system supporting critical loads, and is backed up by a diesel engine generator providing emergency power. Cooling is provided by a dual unit air-cooled chiller plant, eliminating dependence on municipal water supplies.
